Allie Perry
I work with teens and young adults who are facing depression, anxiety, confusion about their identity, urges toward self-harm or suicidal thoughts. You might feel overwhelmed, unsafe inside your own skin, or unsure how to speak about what you are experiencing. Perhaps mood swings, stress, or parts of yourself feel too heavy or too hard to share. In the midst of inner chaos and pain it can feel like you are completely alone. I want you to know that you are not alone and I am ready to listen. I am ready to support you through these challenges so you can feel more confident, safe, and capable to handle what life brings.
I use a strengths based, compassionate approach that honors you as a whole person. In our sessions I draw on evidence based strategies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while offering validation, gentle challenge, empathy and occasional humor. Together we explore what hurts, what is possible, and build practical coping skills and emotional tools for change.
Through our work you may gain more confident, function better with daily living skills, and feel safer. You may gain insight into yourself, utilize coping skills, and reduce suffering. Over time you can grow toward greater stability, self-acceptance, and hope.
