I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with eight years of experience in person-centered and narrative-based therapy, working with youth through adulthood, with a particular focus on teens and young adults. Together, we'll navigate a confusing world so you can build greater self-understanding. I believe our past holds the key to our present behaviors, and that key can open the door to changing our future ones. The issues we struggle with aren't always the root cause, though; my goal is to help you identify what's truly underlying them, so we can get to the heart of what's going on. When you work with me, you'll find I'm a nerd who enjoys humor, with a mind that splits somewhere between Sherlock Holmes and Mr. Rogers. By exploring your past experiences through narrative-based approaches, I aim to empower you with a person-centered perspective. You already hold the answers to your own questions, so my role is to guide and support you as you discover your own solutions. Think of me as your hype person: I'll kindly point out patterns that may be getting in the way of your goals. While sitting in class, I listened to my classmates talk about the major impact therapy had on them. I’d heard of therapy before, but didn't grow up with the concept myself. Thinking back on my upbringing, I saw how many people in my community struggled without that kind of support. I come from a family of helpers, and that legacy stayed with me. Today, I bring a calming atmosphere, humor, and, of course, a helping hand to lift you during the hard times. My hobbies include art museums, concerts, nerdy things such as the Mile High comics, and going on adventures with friends.

Most of the students I work with are figuring out who they are while juggling school, family, friendships, and their future. Many feel the weight of being “the strong one” for everyone else, but behind closed doors they’re tired, anxious, or questioning if they’re enough. Some are navigating being away from home for the first time, carrying family expectations, or balancing the pressure to succeed with the need to just breathe. Others feel out of place on campus and want a space where they don’t have to explain themselves or code-switch. I connect best with young people under 25 who are ready for honest conversations, who value a therapist that will both listen deeply and challenge them to grow. My goal is to give you room to unpack your story, understand your emotions, and figure out how to move through stress, relationships, and identity with more clarity and confidence.

I'm here to support you in finding balance as you navigate life's inevitable ups and downs. I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with the transition to college or the many changes that arise during the college experience. I have experience working with individuals who have suffered from life-changing events and are seeking to rediscover themselves in the aftermath. I also have extensive experience assisting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, identity and self-esteem issues, and healing from cancer or other physical illness. In our sessions, we’ll create a safe space to explore what you’re going through and work together to find practical steps forward. I believe that true healing involves the mind, body, and spirit all working together and I take a holistic approach to therapy. I draw from various techniques, including mindfulness and trauma-informed care, to create a space where you can feel safe and understood. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, discover your strengths, and learn to relate to adversity in a new way. I am a believer that we are all interconnected. Our relationships matter most to our wellbeing. And while we are living in a time where we are easily able to connect with one another, we have also never been so isolated and alone. The messages we receive from our greater systems often are at odds with what I know contribute to our wellbeing. Because of that we can often feel stuck, less than, or constantly hustling for “that thing.” We can end up chasing the wrong thing and find ourselves perpetually behind or inadequate. Our culture often places so much emphasis on outcomes, appearance, and external or material things. I sincerely believe that they are often at the root of our unhappiness. We often are doing the thing we think will help us but it ultimately harms us! We are doing it wrong. Together we will explore the often painful and uncomfortable spaces within and work from an Inside-Out approach. In doing so, we find that the storms tend to be more universal, we see our common humanity, we develop more self compassion and compassion and empathy for others. When we are our authentic selves, we become more free and our sessions will include plenty of laughing even as we dive into the parts that feel hard. We were never meant to do this life alone. And yet – so many of us are often sold on false narratives that “it’s just you” or have been invalidated, shamed, or traumatized by oppressive systems on the larger scale or within our own homes. My pride in the work is to help you become your best self, the one who is not merely living, but the one who is truly alive. Feeling it all, skin in the game, open to heartbreak, receptive to joy. Facing our pain is not easy (I know this well!). But I know deeply that when we do the right kind of hard, our efforts are fruitful beyond measure. Let’s face this together.

College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming. Between classes, relationships, friendships, family expectations, work, and figuring out who you are, it's easy to feel like you're supposed to have everything figured out when you're still trying to find your footing. I'm Grace, and I'm a therapist who works with young adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, identity, and the pressure to "have it all together". My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgement-free. Therapy isn't about telling you what you SHOULD do. It's a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and build a life that actually feels like yours. Whether you're struggling to manage the demands of college, feeling disconnected from yourself, navigating a difficult relationship, or simply feel like something is "off", you don't have to figure it out alone. We can work together to understand what's underneath the stress, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and help you feel more confident moving forward. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. Feel free to email me to set one up. I can't wait to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and care for adolescents and adults. My work centers on mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, and ADHD — helping people navigate a wide range of mental health challenges so they can regain balance, improve daily functioning, and reconnect to what matters most. Whatever brings you here, I believe in taking a compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based approach that meets you where you are. Whether it’s your first time seeking psychiatric care or a continuation of a longer journey, I look forward to supporting you toward greater mental wellness and healing. Forming genuine human connections is something I'm passionate about, as I believe doing so is an integral part of how healing happens. In our work together, you can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where your concerns are genuinely valued. I use shared decision-making and supportive therapeutic techniques to help you better understand your symptoms and achieve your goals. Every treatment or medication management plan I build is individualized, tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and priorities. My path to becoming a psychiatric clinician was shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the impact mental health challenges can have on individuals and families, while being raised by my grandmother taught me compassion and resilience — values that continue to guide the way I show up for my patients. Beginning my nursing career during the COVID-19 pandemic deepened that foundation. Offering supportive care during life's most challenging moments showed me how much it matters to have someone in your corner. Those experiences strengthened my commitment to creating a safe space where patients feel heard and empowered in their journey. Outside of work, I enjoy playing beach volleyball, hiking with my boyfriend and dog, listening to live music, and exploring new places.

Are you having trouble with falling and staying asleep? Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed? I specialize in working with people who are having trouble sleeping, who are experiencing anxiety, and who are going through reproductive transitions or who are experiencing distress related to their reproductive health (e.g., PMDD, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility). In my work, I aim to cultivate a safe space to hold and honor your emotions, while also providing you with new coping tools to help you process your emotions, get some distance from your thoughts, and help you engage with your life. To do this, I use a blend of evidence-based psychotherapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

Living with anxiety or a mood disorder can feel isolating, overwhelming, and hard to put into words. You may find yourself overthinking, feeling on edge, or weighed down by intense sadness. At other times, your energy or mood may shift in ways that feel just as unsettling - racing thoughts, difficulty sleeping, or feeling pulled in a million different directions. You may wonder why things feel so much harder for you than they seem for others or feel frustrated by patterns that you can't seem to break. If any of this resonates with you, I see you - and you don't have to go through it on your own. I'm here to help by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space grounded in empathy and honesty, when it’s helpful. You’re the expert in your life—I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we will explore your values, build routines that support your mood, and gently shift unhelpful thought patterns. My practice is rooted in a deep respect for the many factors that shape each person’s healing—both within and around them. Having experienced my own transformative work in therapy, I understand the courage and vulnerability it takes to show up. It’s truly an honor to be invited into that journey, and I approach each client with care, humility, and warmth.
