Has traditional talk therapy not quite worked for you? I'd love to help you try something different! While talking things out can often hold a lot of value, I don't believe it should be the only tool in the toolbox. I want to help you heal from what you're struggling with, not just cope. I help my clients get to the root of their inner experiences and feel more connected to themselves, their life, and others. I specialize in helping people compassionately navigate their inner world- working through experiences like anxiety, depression, trauma, people pleasing, self worth, identity, relational struggles, and perfectionism. We'll connect to your emotions, understand how your inner world came to be, and move towards connecting to your most grounded, authentic self. I am trained in internal family systems (IFS) and use it as my primary approach. I value the relationship between the mind and body; also incorporating somatic, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and values work. In our work together, you will experience collaboration, careful listening, encouragement, and humor. I believe you are the expert of your own life and my role is to support you in strengthening your relationship with yourself! If you're interested in working together, please feel free to reach out. I offer a free 15 minute video consultation!
Choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. It's important to find someone that you can relate to and most importantly someone that you trust. We will work together to create a secure relationship, where you begin to feel less alone experiencing emotional vulnerability. My capacity to truly see you, and your capacity to feel comfortable being seen, will be essential to your healing. It is my belief that lasting growth does not occur as a result of insight and understanding alone. Deep healing and change happen when you are able to explore new emotional experiences and to try new behaviors, in the presence of a supportive person (therapist). I work with adults and older adolescents to address old wounds, to increase self compassion and to develop increased emotional stability and flexibility. If you are interested in learning more about me and my practice, please visit my website or email/call to schedule a brief phone consultation.
I aim to guide clients in discovering their patterns and getting off autopilot to begin living a life they choose! I am strongly connected with non-traditional lifestyles and work to cultivate a safe place for all people, most frequently working with clients in queer, non-monogamous, & kink relationships. Most of my clients are wanting to work on issues mostly unrelated to but within the context of these communities and lifestyles, and are tired of having to spend so much time explaining the context to therapists unfamiliar with their world. I also work with folks looking to explore these aspects of themselves for the first time. Growing up, my father's Navy career caused our family to move every 0.5-2.5 years. Since transition was my constant, I developed unique insight into the complex intersection and paradox of excitement, anxiety, fear, resistance, confidence, insecurity, love, and hate that can all be felt simultaneously during times of major change. This is why I love working with college students and helping them to navigate experiences such as: being away from home and re-configuring family relationships; exploring new friendships and romantic relationships; discovering their life path(s); learning a larger variety of ways to cope, communicate, and relate to themselves and the world; and diving more deeply into issues related to identity (e.g. sexuality, gender, higher consciousness, vocation, etc.). I tailor my approach with each of my clients, but primarily utilize mindfulness, experiential activities, and somatic techniques (i.e. deepening the relationship and communication between your mind and body).

I'm Amanda MacLeod, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant who treats patients with a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, depression, and other mood disorders, with additional clinical interests in treatment-resistant conditions, complex trauma, and behavioral concerns. Guided by a belief in patient and community advocacy, I provide compassionate care while inspiring active change through shared decision-making. I emphasize a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, integrating holistic internal medicine, patient education, medication management, and preventative care to support and sustain overall health and well-being. Specializing in psychopharmacology and psychodynamic therapy, I also have experience with advanced treatment modalities, including pharmacogenetic testing and psychiatric evaluations. Originally from Kansas, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry from the University of Kansas, I pursued my post-graduate education in Arizona. There, I earned my M.M.Sc. in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University before eventually settling in Denver, Colorado, with my husband and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels – Eevee and Peach. I appreciate being closer to family and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado. In my free time, I enjoy music, concerts, sports, reading, anime/manga, crafting, cozy hobbies, and, of course, binge-watching TV shows/movies.
I work primarily with young adults who are navigating that in-between stage of life—college, early career, shifting relationships, and figuring out what’s next. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves, often dealing with anxiety, depression, or big life transitions. I tend to be a good fit for students who are looking for more consistent, ongoing support outside of a short-term counseling model. I also have experience working with clients who are struggling with higher levels of distress, including suicidal thoughts or self-harm, and I aim to provide a steady, supportive space where they can feel safe and work toward stability. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I focus on helping clients better understand what they’re going through, build coping skills, and feel more grounded and confident in themselves and their decisions. Because my practice is fully virtual, I’m able to offer flexible scheduling that works well for students balancing classes, work, and other responsibilities.

The most important part of building a therapeutic relationship is to know that I am not the expert of your life. I use empathy and create a non-judgmental environment, allowing humor and the collaborative effort to work towards realistic goals. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease to tell your story and work on the current challenges taking place in your life. I want this to be a team effort and establish the goals you are wanting. My role is to provide comfort and support, as you develop and discover through the therapeutic process.
Hi, I’m Ana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy in Colorado. You may appear to have everything together, yet inside you feel exhausted, disconnected, or like you are constantly masking parts of who you are. Many of the people I work with feel caught between identities, cultures, or expectations that never quite feel like home. I work with young adults and adults (ages 18-30s) navigating trauma symptoms, burnout, high-functioning anxiety, identity-related stress, and feeling detached from themselves. Many are college students or early-career professionals trying to understand who they are and build a life that feels more aligned with their identity and values. My approach centers the connection between identity, culture/environment, and the whole Self--mind, body, heart, spirit, and soul. Drawing from somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, multicultural therapy, IFS-informed parts work, and systems perspectives, I help clients understand the protective patterns that once served them, reconnect with themselves on a deeper level, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, intentional, and aligned with who they are. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you have not always felt understood or supported in other spaces. I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation where we can talk about what brings you here, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether working together feels like the right fit for you.

I specialize in working with queer-identified and neurodivergent students who are navigating the complexities of college, early career pursuits, and perfectionism. Some of the services I offer other than individual therapy include conducting emotional support animal (ESA) assessments, gender affirming assessments and medical documentation, and comprehensive ADHD assessment.
