We are a private practice that specializes in immigrant mental health. Our practice is made up of mostly 1st and 2nd generation immigrants, of which most speak another language (Spanish). We believe that the first generation experience is unique and should be handled in a delicate and trauma-informed way.
It is our mission to support one's journey toward healing and understanding by strengthening the relationship with self and others. We offer therapy for individuals of all ages, families, and couples. Our therapists specialize in working with individuals and families who have been impacted by adoption, foster care, attachment, and trauma. Other challenges that our therapists can help address include depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship conflict, life transitions, and other mental/emotional challenges. We aim to meet you where you are, both emotionally and physically. To do so, we offer several options for sessions, including meeting in the office, community, or even sometimes your own home. We offer Walk and Talk, which combines your journal to healing with the benefits of exercise and being outdoors.
Spark Recovery is an outpatient substance use treatment center helping clients with substance use disorders. We offer Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for those working to overcome addiction. Spark Recovery can also treat co-occurring mental health disorders, in addition to a substance use disorder. We offer a boutique-feel to substance use treatment with smaller groups and a client-centered personal connections to care. We offer group therapy, but often include expressive therapies such as, pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, yoga, meditation, and/or dance therapy to name a few. Your group therapy will also include a built-in weekly one-on-one session with your individual therapist. Call us today if you have any questions or would like to take a tour!
Stress, anxiety, and depression can consume us in unimaginable ways. Throw in the complexities of navigating important relationships, and whoa, can life seem overwhelming. As humans, we are all equipped with unique strengths to help us get through the various stressors life presents. I would like to help you learn to hone in on the innate strengths and values that make you who you are and how to apply them to your daily life. My goal in working with you is to ensure a compassionate and non-biased therapeutic setting where you feel safe and comfortable being yourself. Seeking out help is not always an easy thing to do. Im glad you are here. My approach is somewhat eclectic and bioindividual. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy methods in tandem with solution-focused, person-centered, and mindfulness types of modalities. I typically work with adults and young adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, depression, perfectionism, relationship issues, trauma, and general stress. Feel free to reach out anytime by phone or email. Please leave a voice message if you call and I do not answer, and I will be sure to respond as soon as I can.

College is awesome, but it can be really tough, too. Juggling school with the rest of your life--work, family, friends, relationships--can take a toll on your mental health. Anxiety, stress, depression, and even suicidal thoughts are not uncommon, but you don't have to navigate them alone. My internship was at IUPUI CAPS, and I have lots of experience as an advisor and adjunct professor, so I know better than most how stressful college can be. I'd love to help you turn down the volume in your mind and move toward the life you want.
I've always been a strong believer that your mindset and behaviors can be a significant game changer in the way things are in life. CBT and Mindfulness perspectives are what I work from most, but I also incorporate other methods that will best help you work through, gain insight and clarity in what you're seeking to improve or change. As a therapist, it's important to feel safe and comfortable to share your story. My goal and hope is that you feel as comfortable as you would going over to a friends house, sitting on their couch and having a meaningful conversation. I truly honor the therapeutic space that my clients have and to hear their stories. When you feel ready, I am here to listen
Have you experienced therapy in the past but maybe felt like the experience was too stuffy? Do you worry about judgement in the therapist’s office and find yourself filtering what you share? I know this reality is true for many people and my goal is to provide you with a new way of experiencing therapy. I have worked in all levels of care and I truly believe in a warm, holistic, and genuine approach to therapy. There is space for processing, crying, laughing, and anything else you need! I will utilize both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) throughout our work together to set a framework and present some level of psychoeducation. While the development of coping skills and understanding our thoughts and patterns to deal with distress and aid in emotion regulation will be important to our work together, my ultimate goal in therapy is to be flexible and holistic in my approach, working alongside you collaboratively to make powerful change towards the life that you envision. I honor that you are the expert of your own life, and as a therapist I am present to help process, empower, and seek joy. I understand college is one of the most stressful times in life, and having a trusted therapist to help during this transition can make the world of difference. I have been in your shoes and would love to be your partner in experiencing this difficult but rewarding and transformative time in life.

Hi I'm Erin at Brave Life! I have been a school counselor in previous years and am now at Brave Life Therapy which is a fully affirming private practice. I would love to walk alongside you in your college journey if you're finding yourself in need of a safe place to process, disentangle thoughts or process previous trauma. Bottling up or stuffing down emotions can be so overwhelming to teen girls and women, especially in today’s social climate. The people that you love the most are not always equipped to support you in ways that you need and deserve. Social stigma that most people have about therapy can deter you from seeking the help that you need and deserve. I am here to help you navigate the spaces that appear difficult. Therapy helps provide a safe, non judgemental and confidential space to talk about the challenges you would like to process. Whether you have anxiety, depression or low self-esteem, together we will come up with a plan to discover your strengths so you can live your best life. Help me help you, become a better version of yourself. Life is not easy, but it is easier when you have the right help and support.
“Why am I like this?” Not enough... too much...! You’ve always felt misunderstood by the people closest to you, and here you are AGAIN attempting to find a therapist that gets you. The more you're misunderstood by others, the more you lose touch with yourself. A new medication, googling life's problems, scrolling your fyp for answers to why life seems to hate you. Your relationships are shallow and dissatisfying... more like... nonexistent. It's hard to connect when you are deep and different. Life is fucking lonely. You’re ready to start liking yourself. Fear won't hold you back from working through the hard shit anymore! I want you to know that your idea of your ideal life is what matters to me most. I value authenticity, transparency, and humanness in my office, because your "weird" isn't really that weird at all! I specialize in working with misunderstood rebels and rule benders who want to be SEEN for who they really are rather than what others want them to be.

Feeling depleted isn't a requirement for being a student. If anxiety, grief, or past trauma are making it hard to function, let's change the narrative. I help students transition from 'just getting by' to true stability. My approach focuses on nervous system regulation—giving you the actual tools to shift out of fight-or-flight and into a place of resilience. We’ll work to build a life where you aren't just surviving the semester, but actually feeling present, joyful and content.
