Danielle Carroll, LMHC, is a psychotherapist currently providing services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Danielle utilizes a client-centered, strengths-based approach that allows her clients to feel empowered to build the skills they need to improve their quality of life. She provides a trauma-informed, nurturing, nonjudgmental environment and incorporates humor and therapeutic play into her practice, which allows her to develop relationships with clients who have historically struggled to build healthy and safe attachments to providers and caregivers. Danielle often accesses aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Expressive Arts Therapy in her practice in order to meet the individualized needs of her clients. Trauma-informed care is the cornerstone of Danielle's treatment approach, as this safety net provides a necessary container to the emotional needs of her clients. Danielle graduated with a Master of Arts from Lesley University in 2018 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Expressive Arts Therapy, and is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. Hi there — I'm glad you're here. I work with thoughtful, high-achieving students who seem like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly exhausted on the inside. You might be the friend everyone counts on, the one who never says “no,” even when you're running on empty. Maybe you’re stuck in a cycle of overthinking, overworking, and still feeling like it’s never enough. College life can feel like a nonstop pressure cooker — but it doesn’t have to be this hard. My approach is holistic, down-to-earth, and focused on helping you feel more like yourself again. I blend tools from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Somatic Therapy to help you better understand your stress, listen to your body’s cues, and build coping strategies that actually work for you. Let’s connect for a free consult and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to figure this all out alone.
If you are working on "growing roses", wanting to bloom, but stuck in the thorns, I am a therapist that can guide and support you on how to cultivate a garden that grows past their stems, and bloom over and over again. If you have been struggling with anxiety, trauma, loss, parenthood or other changes/challenges, I am here to support you through this with a strengths based, trauma informed approach. My name is Liz LaRose and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a decade of experience in the field of mental health. I am passionate about helping people through the difficult times to help them grow and bloom. For the past 8 decade, I have had a strong focus on supporting people through life's transitions. Whether you are a new or seasoned mother, starting college, newly single, or not sure what your next step is, I am here to help support you to getting where you want to be.
Are you struggling to find ways to begin living a happier, secure, and fulfilled life or maybe a better handle on the current situation that keeps standing in the way of your goals? Let me help you through this process of seeking and promoting that self-love and examine your behaviors and how the behaviors of others impact you. You are in control! You have the strength, and you will have the answer! Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. As a therapist, I believe in providing a space where you will feel secure and safe to share those thoughts that continue spinning in your head throughout the day. The way you form relationships with others, or your partner is a reflection of the healed or unhealed wounds you are carrying from your childhood experience. Our childhood wounds and conditions influence us more than we think. Healing these wounds helps us improve our self-worth, our standards, and our boundaries within ourselves and others. Sometimes you need someone who will listen, challenge and understand what you are going through. Let's work on building that self-confidence, self-love, and determination that will propel you to be a better version of yourself.
We are a small group practice, providing outpatient mental health, behavioral health therapy to individuals, children and couples in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

While utilizing positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness as a foundation, I work together with my clients to help them reach a higher version of themselves. Much of our suffering and distress comes from our relationships. When we focus on compassion for self and others, life becomes more meaningful and fulfilling.

I've been practicing for 12+ years and in recent years have realized that I love working with individual women 15+yo, so I began catering my practice ONLY to this population! Please check out my website - I hope it will answer many of your questions, but please reach out to me by phone or email with any additional questions. Also, though you can book an appointment directly through my website and I try to keep those options updated, please contact me if you'd like to make an appointment but none of the times listed work for you. This has been an incredibly difficulty time dealing with world/US events in addition to school and life transitions and I'd be glad to help you navigate whatever areas of life are bringing you to counseling at this time.
I view the therapeutic relationship as similar to canoeing - it requires you to provide the steering, while I supply the momentum, and motivation and commitment from both of us to get to the destination. In our work together, I believe in giving you space to explore your story, as it was, as it is, as you want it to be, in a safe, supportive, empowering way that will, in time, allow you to feel confident and secure within your mind, body, and relationships. Within my practice, I utilize eco-therapy as a means to build an objective, curious, and comfortable relationship with the physical world around us, in order to practice building that same relationship within ourselves and with the people around us. It can feel so easy to get swept up in judgemental, shame-based thoughts, creating false perceptions, emotional pain and isolation. And yet, in the same way we prepare for cold winter nights or sweltering summer heat, so too can we weather the storms of our social and emotional worlds. To orient our work towards achieving your therapeutic goals, I work with Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, existential therapy, somatic therapy, animal therapy, ecotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, CBT and mindfulness practices. Utilizing this interdisciplinary blend we can identify and work through the obstacles to then find ways to move forward and love yourself into creating your ideal reality. I accept individuals, couples and families of all genders, identities, religions, and backgrounds. With a client-centered approach I believe you are the greatest expert of your own life, and in order to effectively row this canoe I ask for trust, honesty, commitment, curiosity, and engagement, so I, in return, will provide compassion, patience, knowledge, and reflection.
