Whether you’re stressed about exams, anxious about the future, feeling lonely in a crowd, or simply burned out, I understand the unique challenges college students face. It can simply be a place to gain tools, build resilience, and create more balance during this pivotal time in your life. Let’s make therapy a supportive, sustainable part of your week.
Hi, I'm Kate Lipman (she/her). I hope we get the chance to connect. People I work with best often struggle with self-esteem, anxiety, and depression (among many other things). I love working with students as they navigate the sometimes rough waters of schooling and early adulthood. I hope our work together can be a steadying and calming force in the midst of those previously turbulent seas. Please reach out to me for a free 15-30 min phone call to see if we are a good fit!
You may be doing well on paper while quietly feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. I work especially well with college and graduate students navigating anxiety, identity questions, relationship concerns, grief, trauma, academic pressure, major life transitions, or the exhaustion of trying to meet everyone else’s expectations. My practice is welcoming to LGBTQIA+ students, veterans, adult learners, and others who have felt pressure to hide, shrink, or edit parts of themselves to belong. Therapy with me is warm, honest, and collaborative. Together, we can make sense of the patterns that have helped you survive, strengthen your ability to handle difficult emotions, and help you build a life guided by greater self-trust, choice, and authenticity.
