My practice strives to create an environment where you can express yourself without fear of judgement. The goal is to understand your experience and work to see things in a new light in order to bring a renewed sense of hope. Establishing a strong toolbox of coping skills along with raised awareness of what brought you into therapy can bring a stronger sense of empowerment for positive change. I believe everyone has the ability to navigate what life throws at us and make meaning from those challenges. "Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. The best is yet to come.” ― Zig Ziglar
Hi there — I'm so glad you're here. I work with students who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just not like themselves. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trouble focusing, mood swings, or challenges with motivation, you're not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. Many of the students I work with are juggling a lot: classes, work, relationships, and big questions about their future. Some have been struggling for a while, while others are noticing new mental health concerns for the first time. I provide a safe, judgment-free space to talk things through and explore what’s going on. I also specialize in helping students who are managing ADHD, feeling burnt out, or noticing how stress is showing up physically — like trouble sleeping, appetite changes, or constant exhaustion. My role is to listen, support, and work with you on a plan that actually fits your life — whether that includes medication, lifestyle changes, or simply having someone who gets it. You're the expert on your life — I'm here to help you feel more in control of it.

I truly believe everyone is capable of cultivating an enjoyable and intuitive relationship with food given the right tools and support.

I offer ADHD, ASD, Learning Disability, and other mental health testing to clients ages 7 to 70 years old. I have been providing mental health assessments for over 10 years and have completed nearly 2,000 assessments in my career. I offer thorough testing, including batteries used at the University of Minnesota Neurological Assessment clinic, where I trained, which provides clear insights into specific areas of strength and difficulty, and highly customized feedback for clients and their families based on assessment results.
My clients are often either grieving, caring for a parent or spouse, or experiencing their own chronic or terminal illness. Many of my clients are adult children caring for an aging parent.
When Henry Thoreau gazed at the summer tree and said that “the tenderest fruit needs the tenderest handling,” as a therapist, I believe it's equally true to our mind and our experiences. My role as the therapist is to create a safe and intentional space for you and to lean into the inner strength that may be shadowed by past wounds, present stress, or the hopelessness of the future. My clients include individuals who have experienced trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, sexuality struggles, or any adjustment issues. It is my passion to support clients of Asian descent and Chinese international students with racial identity and acculturation challenges. My vision for this work is driven by being a first generation Chinese immigrant and my professional experience. When I am not working, I enjoy keeping my egg-laying hens, working on my vegetable garden, biking, and cooking authentic Chinese food for my family.
We provide a safe space for you to learn ways to comfortably understand your thoughts and your feelings.
Are you a sensitive soul who feels like no one really understands you? I use an authentic approach in my practice, allowing you to feel heard and seen by someone who wants to get you. I specialize in grief, life transitions, and codependency. I have years of experience in academic counseling, so I also love to help students who are struggling to feel caught up in school and adjust to all the changes that come with college. In my personal life, I love to study tarot and astrology. I'm happy to talk about that in our work together if you like that too!
Hi, I’m a therapy intern at Lotus Counseling Center and I’m finishing my Master’s at Saint Mary’s University. I have a background in intake coordination and administrative work at mental health facilities, so I understand how to help clients get connected to the care they need. I work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, life changes, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges, providing a safe and supportive space to explore feelings and learn coping skills. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
Life comes with its own unique challenges and triumphs. Often during the challenging parts, we can find ourselves feeling stuck. Sometimes the reasons are obvious. Other times, not so much. As a therapist, I take pride in providing a safe, non-judgmental space to explore these more vulnerable parts of life. In my work with teens and adults, I take a client-centered approach while drawing from psychodynamic principles. I aim to build an authentic relationship with you as we explore different aspects of your life. This allows us to identify patterns and themes while setting goals that are meaningful to you. When working together, your autonomy is of the utmost importance to me. I value your collaboration in order to work at your own pace. Throughout my training and professional experience, I worked in various settings including schools, hospitals, the child welfare system, and private practice. These experiences have prepared me to work confidently with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity-related issues, life transitions, and relational wounds.

Everyone’s mental health journey looks and feels different. Like you, I’ve had my own journey. This means you can trust me when I say that I know it is hard. I know that it can be scary and I know that you need to feel safe in this process. I am here to walk next to you, to cheer you on and sometimes to help pick you up when you fall. I am honored that my job allows me to help others on their journey and it is a responsibility that I take very seriously. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults and couples. I work with my clients to treat depression, anxiety and trauma. I also work with clients to process issues related to divorce, parenting, relationship concerns, life changes and the challenges that come with having a family member in the military or law enforcement. My experience treating PTSD includes working in a partial hospitalization program and being certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I believe that it is important that my clients feel I am a good fit for them both in my treatment approach and in personality, that is why I offer a free 20 minute consultation before starting therapy.
Shea Counseling is committed to serving clients with a specialization in eating disorders, however we also have great experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, family struggles, identity, LGBTQ+, emotion regulation, and codependency.

Are you struggling in your relationships? Has anxiety or depression made it difficult to get through the day? Are you just not feeling like yourself or doing the things you used to enjoy? My name is Bridget Mozina, MA, LMFT, and I believe sometimes life throws us challenges, and therapy can be helpful in navigating through those. I enjoy supporting people with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, and self-harm. Along with a warm and accepting environment, I also bring humor and authenticity. I help people discover their strengths, gain insight, and develop the tools for lasting change.
I consider all human complexity from a holistic point of view. A holistic perspective embraces the interconnections between the body, the mind, and the spirit. All our behaviors and symptoms have a purpose. My core theoretical orientation is trauma-informed Adlerian Psychotherapy. I practice CBT, DBT, MBSR, and EMDR, among a multitude of other Evidence-Based interventions. My specialization focus is trauma and I have multiple advanced hours of training making me equipped to help you dig in the roots of your most pesky daily weeds, when and if you are ready to roll your sleeves up. In my practice of Attachment-based EMDR, I have seen profound changes in clients' healing and personal growth. Flash technique is another form of EMDR intervention known for being much gentler and softer when processing extremely hard memories. My therapeutic style is best described as direct yet compassionate, with a holistic and systems-view perspective. I do use humor and I also believe in the cathartic nature of a good ugly cry. One of the reasons I decided to pursue my lifelong passion of helping people therapeutically (too mature for their age or adults still young at heart) on a professional level was to provide validation, unconditional support, guidance, and skills that my younger self needed and wanted. Are you a first-generation college student struggling to navigate the educational system without the emotional and fiscal support you deserve? Are you struggling to navigate the competing demands of educational, cultural, societal, and self-imposed expectations? Are you feeling overwhelmed? I AM here to help! If you are contemplating throwing the towel or about to, before you give in to the "overwhelm," I encourage you to give therapy a try. Truly, what do you have to lose? I am also a Mom who loves working with other mothers and women as they navigate the challenges of parenting, post-partum concerns, divorce, pregnancy loss, and the emotional impact of fertility issues. My personal experiences have informed my additional strength in working with First Generation Immigrants as they/we navigate the process of acculturation. I continue to be inspired by the healing power of human connection in the therapeutic process. I look forward to hearing from you and starting your journey of self-discovery and healing. I provide therapy in English and Bulgarian.
