Hello! I work with folks on issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, disordered eating and body image. More than just developing better coping skills, I also want to help you explore where the worry, negative self-beliefs and unhelpful coping behaviors come from. When we do that, we can appreciate how all behavior really is an attempt to get our needs met, diminishing the shame that so often surrounds mental health struggles. My goal is to help you foster more compassion for yourself, making it easier to understand your inner needs and mindfully pursue actions that are healing. I'm trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and I'm always learning more about treating trauma to help address the impact of past overwhelming experience, whether they felt big or small.

I love working with young people as they get to know themselves, embark on new opportunities, and grapple with difficult emotional and relational challenges. Sometimes people notice that unresolved grief or trauma comes up for them during a life transition and I am here to support. I offer a welcoming, non judgmental space to talk through what is coming up for you. Change and healing is hard and you shouldn't have to do it alone.

H, I am Kelley - I have been in practice for the past 18 years and have 2 college age kids. I am licensed in Colorado, California and Oregon as these are the states I have lived in and still visit. I really struggled with my own mental health in college but back then therapy wasn't that common. There's a saying that therapist's become who they once needed - and that is definitely true. I offer a kind and compassionate ear, judgement free, collaborative approach - based in Brain Science. I want you create a place for you to be grounded and confident with what you bring to the world.

I am passionate about helping individuals and couples build deeper, more secure connections, while finding healing and growth through life's challenges. I believe that many of our struggles, whether in our relationships or within ourselves, often stem from unmet needs for safety, understanding, and belonging. In our work together, we'll explore these core needs and the patterns that might be keeping you stuck.

Hello. I work with neurodivergent adults, especially those who identify as late-diagnosed or self-diagnosed. My practice centers on helping clients understand their internal experiences, reduce overwhelm, and build sustainable ways of moving through the world. I use expressive arts methods for clients who benefit from nonverbal processing, sensory-based exploration, or creative approaches to self-regulation. My work is grounded in validating lived experience, supporting identity development, and offering practical strategies that align with each client’s nervous system and needs.

At Sakura Counseling, we aspire to create an environment that is all inclusive and provides a safe space for diversity in all forms to untangle the challenges that have been holding you back from being authentically you. We are collaborative in our approach, holding high regard for your experience in your environment, paying close attention to the many systems of our society that play a part in perpetuating oppression. We believe in creating collaborative healing relationships where your therapist will work with you to figure out the changes you want to make, then create an attainable, realistic plan of healing. We will then prepare you for the changes to come and develop tools needed to successfully integrate those changes into your current environment. We believe that you are the expert of your experiences and needs, so throughout our collaboration, we aim to allow you to feel free of guilt and shame and safe to be wholly, authentically you as you gain strength of understanding, while building new methods to cope and overcome. As a group practice, we have the ability to provide therapy for most issues with specialized areas of Trauma, Social Justice, Multi-cultural concerns, Anxiety, Suicide, Grief and Loss, Domestic Violence, Couples Relationship Repair...just to name a few. We work with all ages and all walks of life without judgement and thoroughly enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. To find out more about our team go to sakuracounseling.org. I believe the role of a therapist is to be more than a reflective and empathetic companion in the client’s journey and must also incorporate directive approaches in order to alternate between being a companion and being a leader on that journey. Inherent in this belief is that clients are coming to therapy because they want something different than what they currently have. This can be as simple as a new perspective on a past or current struggle or as complex as a new skill set for managing and overcoming emotional, behavioral, cognitive, relational, or somatic patterns that have arisen in response to emotional distress. My theoretical orientation is rooted in Systems Theory and I utilize interventions from Family Systems Therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, ARC, as well as Somatic and Mindfulness based psychotherapies. I have over 15 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, college students, adults, couples, and families. My experience has shown that change is typically hard work and often requires compassionate and collaborative support in order to build new skills. I see clients in both Oregon and Massachusetts and I offer a 30 minute free video or phone consultation to see if I am the right fit for you.

Hi! My name is Raveena. I particularly enjoy working with young adults navigating self-esteem and self-confidence issues, major life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. I specialize in supporting individuals impacted by racism, bigotry, intergenerational trauma, acculturation challenges, disordered eating/ED's and body image. I also work with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday stressors. I strive to create a space that affirms all identities and lived experiences. As a South Asian therapist of Punjabi descent, I bring a deep sense of empathy and cultural awareness to my work with BIPOC and other marginalized clients. A key part of my approach is recognizing and challenging the systemic forces that impact people of color, queer and trans individuals, and those at the intersections of multiple identities. Sometimes it can be difficult to reach out, which is understandable. If it feels right, please reach out to schedule a consultation, and if you have any questions or thoughts I'd be happy to help.

My heart's work is connecting with people, holding space for their hurt, and empowering them to reach towards a connected, integrated life. My ideal client is someone who is curious about WHY troubling symptoms exist in the first place; someone who is ready to either step into therapy for the first time (hurrah!) or to step away from traditional talk therapy and begin deeper, more profound healing from the bottom up instead of the top down; someone who is wanting to feel more connected to themselves and others, and to feel more joy. I specialize in treating trauma, dissociative disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and life disturbances of all kinds. I have obtained extensive advanced training in EMDR, dissociative disorders, preverbal trauma, and somatic experiencing. I use EMDR psychotherapy as the framework for my practice and have witnessed amazing results. Jung said "Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul be just another human soul." I will create and hold space for you to just be, and you will find me a warm, experienced, intuitive presence. We will work together to move you towards a more connected, joyful, playful life. I can't wait to meet you!

Hello! My name is Bukayo and I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes mental health care should feel collaborative, practical, and tailored to you—not one-size-fits-all. I’ve been partnering with clients in mental health for almost a decade mostly working in community mental health settings including street medicine, crisis and urgent care settings. I have experience and enjoy working with both young people and adults, especially during times that feel overwhelming or uncertain. My approach is straightforward and supportive: I take time to really understand what’s going on, explain options clearly, and work with you to find what actually helps. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and empowered to make meaningful progress. Looking forward to partnering with you!

My work with clients is centered around helping people to find the balance in their life. We take time to get to know each each other and to set up the goals that are important to you. You chose the pace at which we move, while I offer suggestions and share observations. Our sessions will provide a safe space for you to share as much or as little as you like. Through discussion and exercises we can get you to feel joy again.

Is being away at school a little trickier than you had expected? Maybe you're a bit lonely even though there's always loads of people around. So many challenges and expectations--it can be overwhelming even while it's gratifying and fun. We all need support at times. Together we work toward cultivating the inner strength, confidence and wisdom needed to fully and successfully transition into a meaningful and autonomous adulthood. Anything that is causing distress is welcome: grief, confusion, difficult relationships. I'd like to help.

Do you feel like the person everyone counts on--the friend who always has advice, the one who never misses a deadline, the kid your family calls when something goes wrong--while inside you're running on fumes? Between classes, jobs, relationships, and the pressure to have your whole future figured out, it's easy to end up exhausted and still saying yes to one more thing. I work with college students on anxiety, boundaries, and the transitions that come with this stage of life--moving away from home for the first time, figuring out who you are outside your family's expectations, navigating friendships and relationships that are more complicated than anyone warned you about. I also love career and major counseling: helping you sort through the "what am I even doing with my life" spiral with some actual structure instead of just more overwhelm. Sessions are collaborative. We'll start by talking through what's actually going on for you--not just the symptoms, but the patterns underneath them--and build a plan from there using tools that fit your life, not a one-size-fits-all script. I bring warmth, a sense of humor, and real engagement to our work together; you won't get a therapist who just nods and takes notes. I keep a limited number of sliding scale spots open for students who need them. Sessions are normally $230 ($330 for the intake), with reduced rates depending on your circumstances. You pick the tier that fits; no explanation or paperwork required. Cost shouldn't be the reason you don't get support. Sessions are virtual, so you can meet from your dorm, apartment, or wherever you're staying in Oregon. I'm a licensed psychologist (Psy.D.) with over a decade of experience, and I'd love to help you find a little more balance in the middle of all of this. Schedule your free consultation to see if we're a fit.

I see therapy as a place for people to be deeply understood and gently challenged to take action on what they value most. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach to support what is already working for you, including your innate resilience and knowledge, while also targeting areas of struggle. I recognize that healing and change happen in the context of genuine, consistent, and intentional relationships, and strive to bring these things into therapy along with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also deeply value feminist, queer, and liberation psychologies and draw upon these wisdoms to explore the struggle of being human from a social justice lens. Relatedly, my understanding of systems of oppression, and therefore my orientation to therapeutic practice, are informed by my identities as a White, Jewish, pansexual cisgender woman.
