Educating my clients and empowering them to take nuggets of awareness or action from each session into life is top of mind for me when we meet. I have years of experience helping folks sort through the burdens of anxiety, depression, emotion regulation struggles, relationship patterns, and OCD. It's always my top priority to work as a team - two humans sitting down in a sacred space to unravel the knots of uncertainty, discover your inner strengths and craft new approaches that can open up the road ahead. I am a licensed professional counselor. I have over 13 years of experience working in the social work and counseling field. My background includes working with social service agencies through foster care and adoption; working in the school setting as well as homes of families; collaborative efforts with community resources; 13 years of ongoing training and education to include LPC. My experience is focused on anxiety and depression management with CBT modalities as well as women issues. Other experience includes parenting engagement, play therapy, mindfulness, and talk therapy. I have experience and will work with all age groups. When we change our thoughts we can change our responses and that can make all the difference with the outcome.
