Are you emotionally exhausted, experiencing unsettling transitions or struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety or grief? Are you coping with toxicity within your relationships or having difficulties adjusting to the demands of academic life? My clients learn to use their suffering as guiding information, identifying imbalances and creating a greater impetus toward life change. I serve those seeking a deeper understanding and mastery of their life journey. We will work to increase intimacy and alignment with the core of your essential, authentic self. The archetypal language taps into the universal motivational patterns inherent in both the individual and collective psyches. Utilizing astrological theory specifically allows us to see pinnacle moments of growth potential evident throughout the life cycle, allowing for more conscious use of our efforts toward self-betterment and greater management of our unique motivational personality structure. With that, this theory underlies the tenets of a meaningful and synchronistic universe which can be collaborated with to co-create a more purposeful life and to help with radical acceptance of the things we cannot change. We may use this approach, along with other interventions, to help identify and integrate the disowned parts of the self which lead to recurrent negative patterns. I also specialize in treating victims of narcissistic abuse as they heal from relational trauma and learn to seek self-validation and challenge co-dependencies, honoring one's own limits and divesting from the toxic dynamics within relationships. I have a Masters Degree in Social Work (2006) and practice as a Telehealth Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CT and PA. I also have certification in Conscious Evolution in Archetypal Cosmology via the Graduate Institute (2011), in Archetypal Astrology and Cosmology via the Institute of Transpersonal and Archetypal Studies (2019) and a Certificate in Applied Archetypal Astrology from Pacifica Graduate Institute (2023). I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH).

I provide experienced, thoughtful care to young adults and college students navigating a wide range of challenges. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply seeking clarity and direction, therapy can help you better understand yourself, shift unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful change. My approach is holistic, warm, and relational. I work collaboratively with each client to uncover the underlying forces shaping their current concerns, helping them identify choice points and reconnect with their strengths. While I work with a wide range of presenting issues, I have a special focus on treating trauma in its many forms. I am especially committed to providing safe, affirming, and effective care for survivors of sexual abuse and assault, and for those carrying the long shadows of past experiences. Regardless of the content, I approach every session with cultural humility, clinical attunement, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience. Therapy is your time—for insight, healing, growth, or simply space to breathe and think. A strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of this work, and I invest fully in building that alliance with every client I meet. College can be a wild mix of freedom and stress... with friend drama, missing home but wanting independence, figuring out what you want to do with your life, financial pressure, loneliness when friend groups shift, and the everyday weight of adult responsibilities starting to pile up. It’s a lot to carry, and it makes sense if you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or unsure how to handle it all. And then, when you’re finally ready to reach out for support, finding a therapist can feel like another full-time assignment. Scrolling through endless profiles feels a little like online dating... you’re reading way too many bios, everyone sounds kind of the same, and you’re left wondering who you’ll actually click with. Add in the stress of costs, schedules, and trying to figure out if they’ll really get what you’re going through, and it’s exhausting before you even start. My goal is to make that step less overwhelming and give you a space where you don’t have to perform, pretend, or have it all figured out.

Change is scary, and navigating change can be easier with the help of an effective support system! The most important part of being in therapy is having a trusting relationship. Whether it is life decisions, mood changes, life changes, I am here to help each step of the way. Perhaps you're seeking support in making that big job decision, managing overwhelming emotions, or just navigating life in general. I am open to working with all individuals, but do enjoy the work that happens with high school and college students! I have spent five years working in a community mental health setting, where issues varied greatly, with vast experience with depression, anxiety, health issues, ADHD, relationship issues, and self esteem. I work from a person centered perspective, but always open to expanding. I've assisted clients in getting connected to appropriate resources when needed. I work from a very client centered approach, as this is your treatment and I want you to get the most of it! If you feel as though you need support and guidance, I am open to free fifteen minute consultations to see if we would be a good fit to work together!

Through over 20 years of practice I have found that people usually seek therapy because they are experiencing something that is too difficult to bear without additional help and support. Life can seem unjust when bad things happen to good people, or when best efforts are not leading to desired outcomes. These challenges are opportunities for renewal and growth. Especially during a time of crisis or transition, the ability to safely connect and openly share thoughts and feelings, while receiving genuine emotional support, clarifying insights, and effective tools for coping can be truly life changing. This is the gift of therapy. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders (such as OCD, tic disorders, hair pulling, skin picking and hoarding). I use evidence-based treatment models (ERP, HRT, CBT and EMDR). Research tells us that the therapeutic relationship is a critical factor in determining outcomes, so finding a therapist who is right for you is key. Call for a free 15 minute phone consultation so that you can interview me and decide if I'm a good fit.

[ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR WEDNESDAYS, SATURDAYS, AND SUNDAYS] [NOTE: I cannot accent clients who attend the University of Pittsburgh due to a conflict of interest] My mission is to join with others in pursuit of healing, empowerment, and liberation. Those who work with me are often exploring issues of gender, sexuality, and race; privilege, marginalization, and systemic oppression; complex trauma; and relationships. We often focus on alleviating the anxiety, depression, and disconnection from self and others that can come with these experiences. Together, we work towards building self-understanding so you can make decisions about your life and relationships with awareness and intention. I am a queer, agender, social justice-focused and relationally-oriented therapist. Central to my approach is curiosity about the cultural systems and personal relationships that shape your experience. I also have experience integrating tarot, ritual, and dream work as therapeutic tools. I am happy to incorporate your personal healing practices into our work. The relationship we build is our greatest tool for healing. I approach therapy as a collaborator, and work with clients to create a relationship characterized by trust, safety, authenticity, vulnerability, and warmth, humility, and genuine care. We can dream up what healing looks like and strive towards it together.

We are an Integrative Therapy Practice. Clients often face emotional, mental, and physical challenges in their lives. To better prepare them, we often incorporate a combination of traditional and emerging practices. This integrative therapy strives to promote healing by creating both a healthy mind and body. Our licensed professional counselors use this approach in helping clients manage the strong emotional and physical stressors that interfere with their relationships at home, work or school. In addition to our counseling services, some of the tools we recommend in our therapy include massage, yoga, meditation, and diet. Our clinicians provide both in-person and telehealth sessions.
