Katie utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help her clients reach their goals. EFT is a person-centered approach that is based in attachment theory, and utilizes emotion to help identify and change negative patterns of interaction, as well as increase emotional intelligence. Katie is passionate about working with trauma, and is trained in Eye Movement and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to help her clients navigate the healing process. EMDR is utilized to help clients process traumatic memories.
