I am an athlete turned therapist who is passionate about helping other athletes navigate the world of overwhelming academic and athletic expectations. As a previous collegiate athlete, I understand the unique challenges athletes face including: sports performance, anxiety, injury and recovery, training schedules, and post-sports transition. As a therapist, I understand how the body and mind are interconnected and impacts our mental health. Working with athletes is very individualized and in my practice, I tailor to the nuances of athletes using strengths-based and cognitive therapy to promote emotional stability, acceptance, self-confidence, and perseverance with specific focus on teens and young adults. Hi, I’m Julie! I’m so glad you’re here. I identify as a cisgender Latina woman and am proud of my Puerto Rican heritage. I love working with college-aged adults navigating the big transitions of this stage—figuring out who you are, what you value, and how to manage all the pressures that come with it. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm, you’re not alone—and therapy can help. My approach combines practical coping skills with deeper exploration of your thoughts, emotions, and the many parts that make you who you are. I believe we all carry an innate inner wisdom, and my goal is to help you reconnect with yours—building self-trust, compassion, and healing from within. I look forward to connecting and supporting you on your journey.

Welcome! I'm Isabella. Thank you for finding your way here. I'm an integrative psychotherapist providing tele-health therapy to individuals and couples located within California. I come to this work with a deep reverence for the human experience and the courage it takes to turn inward. I am passionate about supporting highly sensitive souls, and those navigating anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. As someone who is no stranger to the rocky terrain of the psyche, I know what it's like to feel lost, scared, and longing for relief. And yet, even amidst the chaos, there is wisdom, clarity, and calm that can always be found. This, I hold as a deep truth. I completed my practicum training at Saint Mary's College of California CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services) where I worked with a diverse population of undergraduate and graduate students. I really love working with college students and supporting them through this very important stage in adulthood. If you think we might be a fit, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Marriage & Family Therapist
San Jose, CA

I enjoy working with client's of all ages. I work hard to get to know each of my clients and then create interventions and goals that fit them individually. I believe that you are the author of your own story, and I am just there to help you re-write chapters and create new ones. I enjoy working with young people who want more for their lives but aren't sure how to get there. I am passionate about decreasing stigma around therapy, changing people’s experience of of therapy, or maybe what they believe therapy is like. The name of my practice, Rebel Well, represents peoples need to be a little rebellious at times, challenge the norms, challenge the voices in their heads that keep them from thriving. A little rebellion can be a good thing. My biggest belief in this work is you are not the problem, the problem is the problem. I want to support each person holistically, and that can mean different things to different people. I practice from a client centered approach meaning that I use each client’s individual presentation to create a plan, interventions, and goals.

Marriage & Family Therapist
Lake Forest, CA

My name is David Serbin. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #147386) and Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC #15666). Through therapy, I work with clients to help them see the positive storylines in their lives. I help make counseling fun for clients through narrative building, developing strategies for challenging negative self-talk, self-exploration of strengths, and games, among other ways. I believe that each client has the main ingredient for success in therapy: hope. I love working with young adults who are trying to find out who they are. My clients are motivated and driven, yet searching for deeper meaning and purpose in their lives. They often feel they have unmet needs or goals they want to achieve but have yet to accomplish. In our first session, we'll start with introductions, then dive into the challenges you're facing and hopes for our work together. Having worked with individuals and couples over the past 5 years, I've been able to offer compassion to people who have been in environments where they could not be open about their mental health or only experienced tough love. I strive to create an environment where you will feel safe to be your true self. I often assign homework between sessions. This may include worksheets or journaling exercises. Contact me if you are interested in booking a consult or therapy session and I will do my best to respond within a few hours.

Hi, I’m Samantha (she/her). I’m a mixed-race, queer therapist providing down-to-earth, individual, virtual therapy to teens & young adults. I support young people as they process trauma, move through life’s challenges, & shape lives that feel authentic & joyful to themselves. These years can be overwhelming, complex, & full of questions around identity, relationships, & how to feel safe in your own skin. I am here to be an ally through it all. I am particularly passionate about working with immigrants, queer, trans, & gender-expansive communities, & folks facing the impacts of trauma & systemic violence. My style is warm, thoughtful, and nonpathologizing – I believe healing occurs within a larger social context. If you think we'd be a good fit, email or call me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call! I look forward to connecting with you. Currently practicing under supervision of Rayne Banneck, LMFT #124607 through Axis Mundi Center for Mental Health in California.

Psychologist
Beaverton, OR

Hi there! My name is Reese Minshew, and I work almost entirely with transgender (broadly defined) adults who have had traumatic (broadly defined) experiences. I’m licensed in California, Illinois, and New York, and work via telehealth with people located in any of those states. Clinically, I believe that the reactions we have after experiencing trauma and stress are fundamentally adaptive to the trauma, but can disrupt everyday life. In other words, if you had a difficult experience (including chronic exposure to structural stressors such as anti-trans bias, white supremacy, ableism, etc), you might not be able to eat, sleep, focus, calm down, feel excited, or be in relationships in the way you want. Whatever reaction you’re having was very helpful to you at one time, but if it’s no longer serving you then we can work on that. Most of the time we would do this by talking about what’s going on in your life right now, and working to understand it in the context of your past experiences.
