I believe that therapy can help us to move toward greater self-understanding, empowerment, and fulfillment. I strive to create a supportive therapeutic space in which you and I can collaboratively process through thoughts, feelings, and experiences with openness and compassion. So often societal messages and stigmas can cause us to view our behaviors with shame and judgment, which can lead us to feel even more stuck. My goal is to support you in slowing down, shifting toward curiosity and compassion, and feeling empowered to make the changes that you seek. Sometimes we face challenges that seem insurmountable, leaving us feeling stuck and hopeless. Therapy can provide the support necessary to overcome hardship and help us take steps toward happiness and fulfillment. As your therapist, I believe that you have the resiliency required to overcome life's toughest challenges. No one should have to trudge alone through trying times. I look forward to walking with you on your journey! I specialize in grief and loss counseling, but also help individuals cope with and manage depression, anxiety, mood swings, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I use a variety of creative trauma-informed techniques to tap into your innate strengths, develop solutions, and make moves toward the summit of well-being. My main clientele are teens and young adults, and I truly enjoy working with these populations! Along with traditional talk therapy I use art, play, visual journaling, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients get "unstuck" and feel in charge of their emotions and their lives.

Hi, I’m Olivia - and I’m here to help you feel more like you again. You might be holding it all together on the outside, but inside, it’s a different story: - Constantly overwhelmed by school, work, or life choices - Feeling like something’s missing, even when you “should” feel fine - Stuck in patterns that leave you unfulfilled or disconnected - Tired of trying to be who everyone else expects you to be If this sounds familiar, you’re not broken - you’re just exhausted from carrying too much for too long! I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, grief, relationship struggles, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you’re questioning your path, overwhelmed by expectations, or feeling lost in your identity, you don’t have to figure it out alone. In our work together, you’ll have a space to slow down, speak freely, and untangle the emotional weight you’ve been carrying. We’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and what it might feel like to finally be seen and supported for who you really are. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in real-life tools you can use outside of therapy. We’ll build emotional resilience, self-trust, and strategies that help you feel grounded in your own life again - and we’ll do it at a pace that feels right for you. A bit about me: I live in Victoria, Texas, and when I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me outside - walking my dog, horseback riding, or finding new trails to explore. I’m also a big fan of discovering hidden gem food spots wherever I go.

Treatment program
Englewood, CO

The clients who tend to do best with us are people who are looking for support that fits their individual needs while still allowing them to live at home and stay connected to their everyday lives. Many are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained and are looking for guidance and structure to help them feel more stable. We provide weekly individual therapy, medication management, and a structured Intensive Outpatient Program, allowing clients to receive the level of care that best matches where they are. We work with children, adolescents, and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, mood changes, trauma, stress, or difficulty coping with daily challenges. Our program is a good fit for people who are open to participating in therapy, learning practical coping skills, and working collaboratively with a treatment team. Clients do not need to have everything figured out, just a willingness to engage and take steps toward feeling better. If you or your family are looking for flexible, comprehensive mental health care that can grow and change with your needs, our program may be a good fit.

It is an honor and an inspiration to witness a person’s growth. Being a part of that transformation is my passion and my life’s work. I am a transpersonal therapist, meaning that I hold a person’s emotional journey within the larger context of their overall spiritual path. Transpersonal psychotherapy is unique from traditional psychotherapy in that it views a person as a spiritual being who is having a human experience. From that perspective, the process of developing self-awareness is a remembering of the essential nature. Expanding one’s consciousness becomes a sacred unfoldment through which we begin to create ourselves and our lives intentionally. Through a delicate balance of self-love and self-honesty, we can begin to discern the persona we have created from the essence of who we are. As the ego, or personality, becomes increasingly easy to identify, we are able to recognize and resist its programming and begin taking ownership of our choices. Trying to control our external reality is exhausting and ultimately impossible, but our inner reality can be entirely of our choosing. True freedom and security is cultivated within and brings an unshakeable sense of peace to even life’s roughest waters.

A lot of people say they knew at a young age they would be a therapist, but that wasn’t me. I grew up in a military family and thought I would continue that tradition and be a stay-at-home mom. Instead, I found myself in a journalism career and a marriage I didn’t like. Starting over after 30, I chose to return to school and pursue a degree in social work. Since then, I’ve worked with the military, in inpatient facilities, and in outpatient care. I love working with women who find themselves “outside the box” when it comes to societal expectations (child-free/childless, unmarried, or just a-plain-ol’ rebel). I love to focus on resiliency, self-improvement/self-esteem, personal growth, and even a bit of spirituality (if that's your thing). I'm a very laid-back, nontraditional therapist. I believe you are the expert in your own life and, sometimes, we just need some guidance or permission to do the things we know we need to do. I don't assign homework cause, frankly, I wouldn't do it if I were in your shoes, but I will suggest some tasks or actions that may be something to focus on between sessions. I also expect clients to show up with a discussion topic or something to start us off with; again, the time is yours to use as you feel best. I have very eclectic interests. Two things that are very important to me are spirituality and non-traditional relationships. I feel both have their own challenges and prejudices to overcome. I'm always looking for ways to include and incorporate my client's spiritual beliefs (if they choose to share) into sessions and help them build a strong foundation. Nontraditional relationships (including kink dynamics) can be a challenge to bring to therapy as there's often a perceived level of judgment—not here! I celebrate however your relationship looks and work to help you create the most nurturing and healthy relationship however that looks. One of my core values is curiosity, so I love it when I get to learn a little something from my clients. Having grown up in a military family that moved every three years like clockwork, learning about people and cultures has been a huge part of my life. I encourage my clients to practice showing and embodying their authenticity with me so they may go out into the world more confidently. I believe we all have something beautiful to share and learn from each other and I encourage those I work with to explore that on a deeper level.
