I work best with clients who may appear to have it together on the outside while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. Many are navigating trauma, OCD, mood changes, identity exploration, or relationship stress. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients and those looking for an authentic, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to better understand themselves and heal.

In my practice I take a strength-based approach to help you learn and grow. I am interested in exploring who you are as an individual and helping you get where you want to be. Together I hope to build a respectful and collaborative therapeutic alliance. I have experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. I specialize with working with young adults dealing with life transitions. I have experience working in the university and hospital setting. I have an interest in working with young adults, college students, and adults. I use both CBT and DBT in my practice. My colleagues would describe me to have a calming presence and open mind. After several years working as a nurse in the medical field and understanding the mind-body connection, I discovered that I wanted to work in a way that I could create long term relationships with my patients. I believe that mental health is just as important as our physical health. Although I am a strong advocate for holistic modalities such as therapy, movement, nutrition, and sleep, psychopharmacology can be a critical part of your treatment journey. Medications work best when used in conjunction with therapy and overall well-being practices. I understand that making sure you are working with a provider who can meet you where you are and support you in your journey makes a big difference in your healing. I believe my role as a nurse practitioner is to provide education and guide you to make choices that feel the best to you and your healing.
As a therapist, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other strategies to help clients explore the interactions between their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. My style is collaborative, client-driven, and forward-focused. Additionally, I enjoy looking at the systemic factors in a person's life, including family dynamics, relationships at work or school, and even interactions with friends or partners. My purpose is to help you maximize the opportunities in your life to achieve your goals through empathy and a strength-based focus. I specialize in anger and anxiety management across the life span, especially with teens and adults. I am certified in Thinking for a Change (T4C) and Aggression Replacement Training (ART). Additionally, I have extensive experience working with and advocating for people going through the legal system, including people facing domestic violence charges. I invite you to reach out to schedule a session by contacting our office to see if we would be a good therapeutic fit. I look forward to talking with and meeting you to help you achieve your goals!
Do you feel exhausted from trying to hold everything together? Maybe you have always been the responsible one or the person others rely on. You pushed through stress, anxiety, and family challenges because you felt like you had to. At first it seemed manageable, but now the pressure feels heavier and harder to carry. On the outside you appear confident and put together. Inside you might feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or worried that you cannot keep this up much longer. Wanting a break does not mean you are failing. It means you are human. I’m Sara, and I help students who are tired of perfectionism, constant pressure, and the weight of expectations. I work with people who want healthier relationships, better communication, and support as they process past experiences that still affect them today. My background includes ACT, CBT, TF-CBT, Brainspotting, and group therapy training, which allows me to tailor our work to what you need. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, honest, and real environment where you can finally let your guard down. I show up as myself so you can feel comfortable showing up as yourself too. You deserve a space where you can put down the pressure you have been carrying and focus on feeling grounded, supported, and hopeful. I am here to help you get there.

Healing doesn’t have to feel so heavy all the time. Life can be tough, but your therapy journey doesn't have to be. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, or just trying to understand what on earth is going on, I’m here to help with compassion, curiosity, and (yes!) even a dash of humor. My goal is to help you feel heard, empowered, and equipped with the tools to create a life you truly enjoy. Along the way, we’ll celebrate the small wins, unpack the big stuff, and maybe even laugh a little. Growth is serious work, but it doesn’t have to feel that way the entire time.
These seasons of life can be filled with uncertainty and emotional challenges, and having a supportive, nonjudgmental space to process those experiences can make a meaningful difference. My goal is to offer that space to every client I work with. As a Registered Art Therapist with 15 years of experience, I integrate therapeutic art-making into sessions to support self-expression, healing, and growth. My approach is client-centered, strength-based, and collaborative. I tailor counseling to each individual's needs, combining expressive arts with other effective therapeutic techniques to help clients build coping skills, resilience, and a personal toolkit they can draw from in everyday life. Whether this is your first time seeking support or returning to therapy, I strive to create a welcoming, safe environment where you feel heard and supported. I’m currently offering daytime appointments in Raynham and also have telehealth availability. Thank you for visiting my profile—if it sounds like we may be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
