I am an experienced therapist who helps adults and adolescents with anxiety, life transitions, and trauma recovery. I offer a personalized approach to each client's unique needs. I help teens and adults move from anxiety, anger, and panic into greater self-understanding, self-acceptance, and healthier relationships. Using EMDR, we focus on creating deep, lasting change—so you can feel more in control, connected, and free in daily life. I consider each client's unique characteristics, strengths, values, and needs to create a unique treatment plan for each client. My approach is to come alongside my clients in a way that is free from shame and judgment while creating a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment. If you’re looking for support and someone to journey alongside you as you seek assistance working on specific life issues, and pursuing wellness and connection, contact Danielle to schedule an appointment.
Many of the people I work with seem to have spent a fair amount of time wondering if they are somehow doing "being a person" incorrectly. The overthinkers. The deep feelers. The people who have always felt a little different. A little out of step. Or like everyone else received instructions they themselves somehow missed. Some are navigating trauma, anxiety, life transitions, or questions about who they are and how they want to move through the world. Many have spent a long time trying to make sense of things on their own. Therapy is not a place where you need to arrive polished, certain, or put together. It is a place where curiosity is welcome, questions are welcome, and most importantly, you are welcome. P.S. Consider this your official welcome to the Human Being Club. Your unpolished, un-edited pages are honored here.

I earned a Master of Science in Nursing degree specializing in Psychiatry from The University of Texas at Arlington. I am proud to say I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am a true believer that not one of my fellow humans is immune to stress, anxiety, and feelings of sadness at some point in their life. We all find ourselves feeling vulnerable at times. It is completely normal to question why we feel the emotions that we do, why we seem to fall apart at times, and better yet, how we can get through it all in one beautiful piece. I think the first step to meaningful recovery from anxiety, depression, complex mental illness, and/or substance use is to reach out and ask for help. It is a difficult, but very brave action. I am not one to judge, look down on, question your past experiences, or current situation. I am very good at rationally breaking down a situation and I can offer practical advice and medication suggestions depending on your goal in mind. Life can be brutal, can’t it?! Can you remember that time in life when you were happy, like top of the world scream it from the rooftops happy? In that moment, everything was right in your world and then well, life happened. Now you look back and have so many questions…What happened? Let me tell you, you are not alone! We’ve all been there in some season of life. But who says this can’t make us better! Every person comes to therapy with their own individual needs. Therefore, we adapt our interventions based on a comprehensive assessment of who you are and what you need. We are all trained in a number of different interventions and like to use a combination of our training and expertise to utilize an eclectic approach to best meet the needs of each individual person. We know that every individual is uniquely different and therefore each person should have a unique therapy journey based on their own needs.
I've spent 18 years working with teens as a high school counselor and teacher. Now as an LPC Associate, I use this previous experience to support adolescents and young adults as they navigate today's challenges. As a former educator, I have seen first hand the pressure that academics, social groups, and today's changing world can place on adolescents. Teens develop anxiety, stress, and negative coping skills to deal with this pressure. I help adolescents overcome these challenges by helping them explore their values, emotions, practice new coping strategies, and develop confidence that they will carry into adulthood.
My ideal client is someone who has experienced acute mental health challenges, or may be new in their therapeutic journey altogether, and is ready to move toward stability and growth. They may struggle with severe mood disorders, trauma, substance use, or daily life struggles, and feel discouraged by systems which have not met their needs. They want to understand themselves and their challenges better, build skills to improve self-sufficiency, and create a meaningful, prosperous life with sustainable supports in the community. I specialize in trauma-informed, ethical, and client-centered care grounded in inpatient mental health experience. I help clients develop insight, accountability, and practical skills to manage symptoms, strengthen resiliency, and transition successfully into community sustained living while prioritizing safety, dignity, and long-term stabilization. You do not have to navigate your healing journey alone. If you are ready to move forward and build hope for your future, I invite you to take the next step. Together, we can create a supportive, realistic path towards growth, empowerment, and lasting change.

Let’s be honest—being a college student or young adult can feel like a lot. You’re expected to make big life decisions, manage responsibilities, and somehow have a plan for your future… all at the same time. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of what you’re doing. You might be comparing yourself to others, questioning your path, or just trying to keep up day-to-day. The truth is, most people are figuring it out as they go—even if it doesn’t look like it. I work with young adults to create a space where you can be real. You don’t have to have everything together or know all the answers. Whether you’re dealing with stress, life transitions, or just feeling off, this is a place where you can talk things through without judgment. Together, we can make sense of what you’re going through, find ways to cope, and help you feel a little more grounded and confident moving forward. You don’t have to do this alone.
Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, or seek help to maintain interpersonal relationships, I commit to helping you reach your goals with compassion, and respect. I put people first, and care less about a diagnosis or label. I strive to bring relief no matter your circumstances.

As a parent of a medically complex child and a person with my own chronic health conditions, I often see people become weary when navigating the chronic illness journey. Despite being smart, determined, strong, and compassionate, they begin to feel overwhelmed by life. They feel betrayed by their body. They are unsure of what abilities they, or their loved one, will have in the future and what that means for their sense of who they are. They face disappointment, anger, or judgement from friends and family who don’t understand the challenges they are facing. I want those fellow travelers to know: you deserve to find peace even in the midst of difficulty. You deserve to define and redefine who you are. Hope is not out of your reach. If you want to navigate uncertainty without losing yourself in the process, I’d love to help you. You don’t have to continue alone. Contact me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see how I can help.

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker who practiced in a college counseling setting for over 4 years and I have 15 years of counseling experience total. I continue to work with college students in my private practice and I enjoy working with people to better manage anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief, life transitions, relationship, concerns, and general stress. My practice is body positive and LGBTQ+, immigrant, and international student supportive and affirming. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for processing fears, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I use various types of therapy, including ACT, CBT, DBT skills, somatic therapy, schema therapy, ERPT, narrative therapy, and person centered therapy, but I tailor sessions to what works best for you. I also welcome your feedback in the process. I strongly encourage coming to therapy in the way that you are most comfortable - meaning, swear if you feel the need, don't apologize for eating in sessions if you are hungry, show up in your pajamas - whatever. As long as you are safe and comfortable and you are able to talk privately, I support it. I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit, because having a therapist you trust and match with is paramount. I offer virtual telehealth sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I offer in person sessions in Kingwood, Texas on Wednesdays.
