Are you ready to regain control of your life? Lucky for you, you’re in the right place. It is my goal to push you to your fullest potential, empowering you to be the best version of yourself. Change can be difficult, but also rewarding. During our time together, it is my promise to work just as hard as you - while meeting you where you’re at. I offer a “down to earth” clinical style that provides a safe, supportive and genuine space for you to be your truest self, without the fear of judgment. Whatever the concern, know that I am on your side. As an LPC in the state of PA I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults among a variety of settings over the last 7-8 years, strengthening my skill set to meet your needs. Our first session will be structured toward getting to know one another, while identifying goals and objectives you believe are important for you to target while in therapy. This will later translate into a more specific and individualized treatment plan that will set the tone for future sessions. Though I practice primarily from a Cognitive Behavioral modality, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques to support the experience of intense emotions among many mood disorders and intrapersonal conflicts. I challenge you to explore strength-based strategies to support independent growth and improved self-esteem. Additional areas incorporated into treatment include: communication skills, mindfulness intervention and strengthened self-awareness. I believe therapy is a space one needs to feel comfortable in, therefore it is my mission to provide that to you. I am here to have real, stress-free conversations, acting as a soundboard and listening to you and your needs. I am here to provide education, support and guidance in an empathic, confidential manner.

I provide experienced, thoughtful care to young adults and college students navigating a wide range of challenges. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply seeking clarity and direction, therapy can help you better understand yourself, shift unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful change. My approach is holistic, warm, and relational. I work collaboratively with each client to uncover the underlying forces shaping their current concerns, helping them identify choice points and reconnect with their strengths. While I work with a wide range of presenting issues, I have a special focus on treating trauma in its many forms. I am especially committed to providing safe, affirming, and effective care for survivors of sexual abuse and assault, and for those carrying the long shadows of past experiences. Regardless of the content, I approach every session with cultural humility, clinical attunement, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience. Therapy is your time—for insight, healing, growth, or simply space to breathe and think. A strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of this work, and I invest fully in building that alliance with every client I meet. I believe that a strong therapeutic rapport is the heart of meaningful growth in therapy. When we feel truly seen, heard, and understood, we are better able to explore our experiences, reflect on our patterns, and take steps toward change. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable to be themselves, no matter what challenges they may be facing. My approach to therapy is person-centered, which means I value each client’s unique perspective and believe that you are the expert of your own life. I work alongside my clients, offering support, guidance, and encouragement as we navigate the journey together. I strive to meet people where they are, honoring their pace while helping them uncover new insights and tools for growth. I hold a Master’s degree in Art Therapy with a Specialization in Counseling and am a Registered Art Therapist. Creativity can be a powerful way to explore feelings and experiences that are difficult to put into words. In sessions, I often incorporate art and the creative process to help clients process emotions, gain clarity, and express themselves in new ways. Whether through drawing, painting, collage, or other forms of artmaking, this approach allows for deeper self-understanding and healing beyond traditional talk therapy. I also bring personal experience to my work, having navigated the loss of my father at a young age. Experiencing grief firsthand has given me a deep understanding of the complexities of loss. This experience informs my approach to grief therapy, allowing me to connect with clients in a compassionate and authentic way. In addition to my art therapy work, I am currently pursuing my Animal-Assisted Therapy Certificate. I am excited to soon integrate my therapy dog-in-training, Bear, into sessions as a comforting and supportive presence. Animals can offer a unique kind of connection and grounding that supports emotional regulation and overall well-being. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including partial hospitalization, inpatient, residential treatment, and outpatient therapy. My specialties include supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and significant life transitions. I am especially passionate about working with clients during times of change—whether it’s starting a new school, transitioning to college, beginning a new career, or navigating changes in relationships or identity. No matter your reason for seeking therapy, my hope is to create an environment where you feel safe to explore your inner world, discover your strengths, and find meaningful ways to move forward.

Terra Firma Holistic Therapy
Pre-Licensed Professional
Phoenixville, PA

At Terra Firma, our mission is also our greatest passion: to help you recognize how awesome you really are, and that you’re capable of anything you put your mind to! We want to help you evolve into the version of you who feels seen, heard, and understood; the one who feels confident, happy, and whole. We know that there are times where it feels like there’s absolutely no way that’s ever going to happen, because you’re just not the kind of person who’s capable of feeling better. But you absolutely can and we're here to help you get there! What makes our practice a little different is that we approach each client with the understanding that people do not fit neatly inside little boxes. Your relationships, career, hobbies, diet and exercise, spiritual beliefs, etc. etc. are all interacting to create the current version of you. In our holistic therapy approach, we shirk the mindset that you are a narrow range of symptoms to be treated, and instead look at you as a whole person. Our approach is built on empathy and compassion, and is designed to arm you with the wellness tools needed to help you tackle the various battles you may be facing along your holistic journey to happiness.

Clinical Social Work/Therapist

I work with individuals 18 years old and above who are struggling with depression or anxiety. I can support you to change behaviors to feel better, change patterns of thinking to improve your feelings, develop closer and more satisfying relationships, and much more. I use approaches that have been shown to be effective such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. As a professor at the University of Pittsburgh, I conducted research specific to the mental health of teenagers. I also have extensive experience working with LGBT individuals. Our first meeting would be a chance for me to really understand why you want therapy, for us to develop goals together (Note: My clients often begin developing goals by thinking about "If we are successful working together in therapy, how would you and your life be different?"), and for you to determine if therapy with me is a "good fit."

You're tired of putting yourself out there and not finding your "person". You've tried multiple therapists but just can't seem to connect. And without that connection, opening up and really digging in is hard. So you remain stagnant. You want to feel safe and supported, but also want someone to finally be blunt with you about what may be holding you back--and what may actually HELP. You're tired of merely surviving--you want to FINALLY feel like you are living authentically and truly thriving. You want someone to challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone, but also make this shit a little less scary. I use humor and laughter, openness and authenticity, and most importantly, foul language, to create a safe, explorative environment where we can really dig into what has been holding you back--together. I can be direct and to the point, and sometimes a bit crass and unconventional. But I will also be your strongest advocate and biggest cheerleader. What I love most about what I do is being able to walk alongside someone who is finding their own way, and being able to witness just how resilient our spirits can be. Asking for a little help isn't a sign of failure--it's a sign of courage. And a sign of a badass who refuses to get in their own way. Reach out to see if we may be a good fit! Let's do this! Open Space CCW is a LGBTQIA+ and relationship minority affirming group practice whose mission is to help people move from merely surviving their lives, to truly thriving.
